RIVA Residence is located south of the center of Brno, where the meanders of the Svratka River create a natural space for leisure activities. A popular long-distance cycle route runs through the area, attracting cyclists, skaters, and runners every day. Other popular places in the area include a recreational biotope, golf course, jump park, skate parks, beach volleyball, and a climbing wall.

At the same time, the project benefits from excellent access to civic amenities and commercial centers—the Avion and Olympia shopping centers. Other services are within a few minutes' reach, as is the city center.

The architectural design of the project is based on the character of the location and the landscape context—the river, light, and rhythm of life in the area inspired the design of the entire building. The building is designed so that the interiors open up as much as possible to the surrounding nature and the river, connecting the interior spaces with the outdoor views and the dynamics of the Svratka River.
