Božetěchova, Brno, Česká republika
Completed in 2011
Generous reconstruction of the interwar Brno villa
Renovation with a sense for every detail
Looking quite inconspicuous from the street, the small villa in Božetěchova Street in Brno-Královo pole is unique thanks to the wealth of the preserved interior details from the time of its origin, i.e. the 1920s.
During the renovation, all functionalist elements were re-manufactured and restored at a considerable cost. Simultaneously, the house was adjusted to the needs of modern living; a built-in attic was added, containing a bedroom and a terrace facing the gardens.
The garage, technical facilities and entrance hall also underwent renovation. The former coal storage room was rebuilt into a cloakroom. The residential spaces of the house were adjusted to suit the owner´s requirements and needs.
